Gender Creative Kids - Genderless Poster
We all have societal expectations with gender, even subconscious. Blue is for boys, pink is for girls. Gender Creative Kids wanted to challenge that… in a poster.
So, we found a way to demonstrate taking the focus off gender using the Troxler’s fading, an optical illusion that happens when someone fixates on a particular focus point. After a couple of seconds, the background will disappear and your eyes will focus on the important part of the image. This emphasizes that the person is more important than their gender.
